The Secret Styles of Taijiquan

Many people have sought for the ultimate secret of Taijiquan and after many years of research and training I can finally reveal this hidden art.

A Wudang Temple initiate above demonstrated to us that to receive wisdom we had first to empty our cups. A feat which he managed to complete with amazing rapidity thus demonstrating his advanced abilities in the art.

He then demonstrated the two most secret techniques designed to increase the flow of circulation of bodily fluids, increase bodily relaxation and the ability to withstand the most powerful blows.

Technique 1: The God of Literature Raises a Wine Vessel.

This technique is very difficult to master and so we are demonstrating it in both its orthodox and mirror variants. The key is in the wrist control and the relaxed grip of the fingers. The glass must be raised smoothly to the lips and emptied in one fluid continuous motion with no breaks. Breath control is essential to enable this move to be completed in the correct manner.

Technique 2: Retrieving the Moon From the Glass Bottom.

This is a meditative process that is beyond technique. It can be performed in either glass half full or glass empty mode. The key is the dual hand grip. In glass empty mode the thumb is down, in glass half full mode the thumb is up. A mantra must be recited to maintain the meditative state. This mantra "I need another one, I need another one" is recited until another glass is brought whereupon the practitioner must return to Technique 1.

This sequence is repeated until the state of no mind has been achieved. This is the ultimate goal of Taijiquan.
